The Drier Air Sticks Around Through Late Week

A frontal passage has put us in a dry and slightly milder air mass for now. Humidity levels have come down and will continue that way for a few more days.  Enjoy this drier air while it last because the heat and humidity will be cranking up again soon!

In the meantime, the drier air will help provide us fairly comfortable mornings. Temps will start out in the upper 60s.  Abundant sunshine along with the drier air will combine to allow temps to manage lower to mid 90s for highs. Fortunately, it won’t feel quite that bad due to lower humidity levels. We expect to finish out the work week with the drier air barely holding on.

Upcoming weekend will trend hot with moisture gradually increasing and that will lead to the chance of showers/storms returning to the area.  It will be those isolated showers or storms that pop up during the late afternoon heating.  This will basically be a summer-time weather pattern we’re all familiar with this time of the year.
