The Heat & Humidity On The Rise Again!

Looks like the drier air will stretch into Friday but the weekend will be trending a bit more humid and there’s no end to it going into next week.  You should enjoy this drier air while it last because the heat and humidity will be cranking up to uncomfortable levels once again!

In the meantime, the drier air will help provide us another fairly comfortable morning Friday. Temps will start out in the upper 60s to lower 70s.  Abundant sunshine along with the drier air will combine to boost temps into the mid to upper 90s highs. Fortunately, it won’t feel quite that bad due to slightly lower humidity levels. It still looks like rain activity holds off for most of the area. If anyone sees a shower or storm, it will be south and southwestern counties.

Upcoming weekend will trend hot with moisture gradually increasing and that will lead to the chance of showers/storms returning to the area.  It will be those isolated showers or storms that pop up during the late afternoon heating.  This will basically be a summer-time weather pattern we’re all familiar with this time of the year.
