Montgomery police are investigating a stabbing that left a man injured.

Montgomery Police Dept. Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that at about 7:40PM last night, they were called to the 900 block of Goodwyn Drive.  That is in the Gibbs Village public housing community just off of Air Base Boulevard.

Coleman said they had received a call about a disturbance and a person cut. She said two people told officers there had been gunfire which had damaged a home and a car.

At a hospital, Coleman said police found the man who had been stabbed. She described his injuries as non-life threatening. She says he was stabbed in the same area on Goodwyn Drive.

No other information has been released.
