Humidity Levels Increase Along With Our Rain Chances

We’re entering into another hot and humid weather pattern this week. Temps will manage the lower to mid 90s for highs but heat indices will hover between 100 to 107. It’s time to remind everyone to slow down and take it easy.  Definitely a week to stay hydrated and limit time exposed to the extreme heat.

In the meantime, showers and storms are possible through the evening hours but it’s looking quiet overnight.  Tuesday starts out with a partly cloudy sky and temps in the mid 70s.  Temps will soar into the 90s by midday.  The daytime heating will lead to scattered showers and storms.  Some storms will be capable of heavy downpours, gusty winds and frequent lightning strikes.

Looking ahead, we expect each day will be pretty much be a repeat of the day before.  Hot and humid conditions will be the rule.  Heat indices will range between 100 to 110.  Fortunately, rain activity will help knock the heat down in spots.  This weather pattern will continue through the work week and linger right through the upcoming weekend.
