Elevated daily rain chances reduce the summer heat
Showers and storms became widely scattered prior to midday Wednesday. Additional showers and storms form during the afternoon, and linger into the evening. Some locations may receive multiple bursts of rain. In typical summertime fashion, nearly all of the rain fades away Wednesday night. The sky remains partly cloudy overnight, with lows in the low to mid 70s.
