A Very Active Weather Pattern Remains In Place
We see very little change in our weather from day to day. A rich supply of gulf moisture continues to flow into the area. This is the fuel for those daily rounds of showers and storms. You can expect this weather setup through the weekend and into most of next week.
The weather routine will be morning clouds with scattered showers then a break around late morning. Daytime heating will then kick in and help ignite another round of showers and storms during the afternoon hours. Any storms that do develop will be capable of heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes, and gusty winds. Temps will manage to climb into the upper 80s lower 90s for highs.
Looking ahead, we expect each day will be pretty much a repeat of the day before. Temps will hover in the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs. That will be down just a bit due to the increased clouds and rain activity. Again, there’s no signs this rainy weather pattern lets up anytime soon. We suggest you keep the umbrella handy until further notice.
