Rain coverage lower through Friday, Scattered weekend storms
Compared to Wednesday, the coverage of rain at midday Thursday was MUCH lower. That trend may continue through the afternoon, with a lower chance for showers and storms across our area. However, rain likely becomes scattered during the afternoon, and lingers into the evening. Rain fades away overnight, but the sky remains partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the low 70s.
Scattered storms remain in our forecast Friday and this weekend. There may be more sunshine in mix mix Friday through Sunday before mainly afternoon and evening storms form. That results in high temperatures in the low 90s each day. Showers and storms become scattered about each day through next Thursday. Temperatures remain manageable for late July, with highs mainly in the low 90s.
