Former Interim Chief of the Selma Fire Department arrested on theft charges
The former Interim Chief of the Selma Fire Department has been arrested on theft charges. Franklin Edwards was arrested on Friday July 26 and charged with first-degree theft of property. He was taken into custody by Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Deputies with assistance from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the Perry County Detention Center.
