Hot & Humid Conditions Return In Full Force This Week

Rain chances will be decreasing while temperatures climb this week.  Hot and humid conditions are ramping up again and there will be little relief.  We’re expecting mid to upper 90s to return for afternoon highs. Heat indices will hover between 100 to 110 degrees!  It’s going to be one of those weeks to slow down and take it easy.

In the meantime, a few showers or storms will be possible through the evening hours.  Overnight is looking quiet with a partly cloudy sky and temps only falling into the mid 70s for lows. We start out with a partly cloudy sky and temps in the mid 70s Tuesday morning.  The rest of the day is looking hot and humid with isolated showers or t-storms during the afternoon. Temps will manage the mid 90s for highs.  The heat index will reach 100 to 110.

The rest of the work is looking mainly hot and humid with little rain activity.  Of course, an isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out but most spots will miss them this week. Temps will climb in to the mid to upper 90s with heat indices between 100 to 110 degrees.

Our up coming weekend will be looking a bit different as our rain chances begin to pick up.  A frontal boundary will head southward into the deep south and help tap into a little more rain coverage.  Temps will still manage the 90s for highs but rain activity should help some spots beat the heat at times.
