ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police make arrest in fatal shooting

Montgomery police have made an arrest after a fatal shooting.

Police say they’ve charged 25-year-old Ivory Brooks of Prattville with murder. He is being held without bond.

Brooks is charged with shooting 26-year-old Rayonta Fuller Anderson of Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, Anderson was shot at around 12:46AM on July 27 in the 2600 block of Jan Drive. That location is near East South Blvd. and Troy Highway. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
