Hot & Humid Until Further Notice

This late July heat will spill over into August and there’s really no end in sight.  We expect mid to upper 90s for highs and heat indices to hover between 100 to 110 degrees. It’s the type of heat you have to respect and just slow down and take it easy.

We will finish our the work week with more of the 90 plus degree heat along with maybe an isolated shower or t-storm.  Most spots miss out on any kind of rain activity through Friday. That will be changing as a frontal boundary moves into the area over the upcoming weekend.  The boundary will help enhance the chance for scattered showers and t-storms both Saturday and Sunday.  Be award of those storms capable of heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes, and gusty winds.

Next week is looking typical for this time of the year. Hot and humid conditions will continue along with the chance for an isolated shower or t-storm mainly during the afternoon hours. Temps will hover in the lower to mid 90s for highs but you have to factor in the humidity. Heat indices will continue to reach 100 to 110 degrees.
