August begins very hot with low chances for rain
Thursday looks like another, and fittingly very hot day to begin August. A heat advisory covers all of our area until at least Thursday evening. It may be extended into Friday. Heat indices range from 105 to 110° Thursday afternoon. Meanwhile, high temperatures range from the mid to upper 90s. Fortunately, isolated showers and storms provide heat relief for some of our area. Thursday night looks mostly clear and very warm, with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
