Teen killed, another injured in Macon County
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has launched a homicide investigation at the request of the Notasulga Police Department after one teen was killed and another was injured.
ALEA says the incident happened in the 100 Block of Union Camp Road in Notasulga.
Once officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old unidentified juvenile dead on the scene and a 17-year-old juvenile injured. The 17-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
ALEA says this is an ongoing investigation. Once it is complete, the findings will be turned over to the Macon County District Attorney’s Office.
