Pedestrian dies after two-vehicle crash in Montgomery
A pedestrian has died four days after being hit in a two-vehicle collision in Montgomery.
Police say at about 3:06PM on Thursday, August 1, they and fire medics were called to Upchurch Circle and Stuart Street, which is near West Fairview Avenue close to Interstate 65.
That’s where they found the two-vehicle wreck and the injured pedestrian, identified as 40-year-old DeLorenzo Ringstaff of Montgomery. He was taken to a hospital where he died on Monday, August 5.
The wreck involved two SUVs. The driver of one SUV was not hurt. Police say no one was in the other SUV.
Police say their investigation is continuing and they have no other information to release.
