The Alabama Department of Corrections has arrested two men for promoting prison contraband.

ADOC officials say 24-year-old Xavionn Ahmod Truss, of Oxford, and 20-year-old Terrance Rontae Green, of Talladega, were detained by ADOC Easterling and Ventress K-9 units Monday for trespassing on state property at Bullock Correctional Facility.

While tracking the suspects, agents say they recovered contraband hidden in a potato chip can.

Both suspects are in the Bullock County Jail.

The Law Enforcement Services Division investigation is ongoing and further charges may be pending.
