Hot, humid, low rain chances through the end of August

The home stretch of August looks very hot and more humid. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 90s Wednesday and Thursday. Higher humidity allows isolated showers or storms to form each afternoon. However, many locations remain dry each day. High temperatures may decrease a bit during the Holiday weekend. However, mid-90° heat looks likely Friday through Labor Day.

Meanwhile, chances for rain may remain low during that time. However, some weather models suggest the rain coverage may increase next week. That may result in lower high temperatures by the middle of next week. It looks like temperatures may top out only in the upper 80s to low 90s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
