ACTION 8 UPDATE: Troy police make third arrest in August shooting
ACTION 8 UPDATE: Troy police have announced a third arrest in a shooting that left three people hurt.
Police say 20-year-old Keondre Williams of Crenshaw County was arrested and charged with three counts of firing a gun into an occupied building and two counts of firing a gun into an occupied vehicle. His bond has been set at $50,000.
As Action 8 News has reported, police have previously arrested 23-year-old Ha’Keem Rease of Troy and 18-year-old Jamari Powell of Troy.
Police say the shooting happened at around 2:43AM on August 11 in the 300 block of Aster Avenue. Three people were injured. Two of the people had to be airlifted to a Montgomery hospital, but their injuries aren’t considered life-threatening. The third person was treated and released at the scene.
Police say several apartment buildings and cars were hit in the shooting.
