Man injured in Montgomery hit and run accident

Montgomery police are investigating a hit and run that injured a man late Friday night.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that around 8:36 p.m., officers and fire medics responded to the 1100 block of Chestnut Street regarding a two-vehicle versus pedestrian accident.

Once they arrived, they found an adult male pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

MPD says the drivers of the vehicles before they arrived.

The case remains under investigation at this time.
