15-year-old arrested in Prattville for inciting a riot
The Prattville Police Department says a teenager has been arrested in connection to social media posts threatening violence.
Officials say the 15-year-old is charged with Inciting a Riot for social media posts they made and in relation to the posts observed in the region involving their schools.
Due to the age of the suspect, the identity was not made available.
The latest arrest marks the sixth student arrested in our area related to the social media posts.
Earlier Monday, Montgomery police said three students, two 13-year-old juveniles and an 11-year-old juvenile, were also arrested.
Later that day, Millbrook Police Chief PK Johnson said his department arrested two other students.
