Clouds, showers, storms linger Monday; Trending drier this week
Sunday was another mostly cloudy day with scattered showers and some storms at times. However, some locations remained dry, with brief breaks of sunshine during the day. Temperatures only warmed into the low to mid 80s Sunday afternoon. Scattered showers and perhaps a few storms remain possible Sunday night. Otherwise, the sky remains mostly cloudy with lows near 70°.
Scattered showers and some storms linger Monday, with a mostly cloudy sky otherwise. High temperatures range from the low to upper 80s. However, our area finally trends drier this week. More sunshine fills the sky Tuesday, despite isolated afternoon showers. Only stray showers appear possible Wednesday.
High temperatures respond by warming to near 90° Wednesday through Friday. Thursday and Friday look mostly sunny and dry. Our area may remain mainly dry next weekend, with high temperatures in the upper 80s Saturday and Sunday. The start of next week also looks mainly dry with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
