Montgomery Habitat for Humanity holds volunteer day
A Montgomery non-profit held its volunteer day over the weekend.
Over 75 volunteers showed up Saturday morning at the Montgomery Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore on East South Boulevard to help sort items at the discount store.
The volunteers came from the United States Air Force Senior NCO Academy and different student groups at ASU.
First opened in 2008, the store is a donation based home improvement center that sells new and used furnishings, furniture, and building materials to the public at a fraction of the original cost.
All of the proceeds from the store go back in the Montgomery Habitat for Humanity.
