Students concerned with conditions at Troy classroom building
Dilapidated conditions at one Troy University building is raising concerns among students and staff members who use that building.
Malone Hall sits on campus and houses the departments of art and design, as well as theater and dance.
Things like water damage, holes in the walls and flooding are just a few of the complaints that have been made to officials at the university.
Officials say much of the damage to Malone Hall was caused by a tree whose limbs grazed the side of the building. Officials say the tree has been cut down and repairs are now in the works.
Malone Hall is one of the oldest buildings on campus.
Action 8’s Teresa Lawson spoke with Troy University Physical Plant Director Robert Burkey about the issue. You can watch her story above.
