Tanker truck overturns on Eastern Boulevard in Montgomery

Montgomery Fire/Rescue says one person was treated in an overturned tanker truck incident earlier Saturday.

Fire officials say, rescue units along with Hazmat, responded to an overturned gasoline tanker truck on Eastern Boulevard near I-85.

One person was rescued and removed from the cab of the truck, treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

Fire officials are still on the scene and say they will remain until the product is offloaded onto another tanker. The tanker truck will then be safely up-righted and removed.

Officials say there are no reports of any injuries to other civilians or firefighters.
