Summer-Like Warmth This Weekend But Trending Much Cooler Next Week!

A little bit of summer-like warmth will be in store for us over the weekend but next week will be a totally different story.  Our first fall cool snap is gearing up and we’re going to notice the change in the air most of the upcoming work week.

High pressure will be over the area for most of the weekend.  We’re expecting abundant sunshine and temps to warm into the lower to mid 80s Saturday but approaching 90 degrees Sunday afternoon.  The weather should be ideal for any of your outdoors plans both days.

We have a real cold front set to make a push through the state on Monday.  It looks to be moisture starved and our thinking is the frontal system passes through dry.  The air behind the front is some of the coolest of the season.  We’re expecting daytime highs to hover in the 70s and morning lows to fall into the lower to mid 40s for a few mornings.  Definitely the first chill here in early fall.  A gradual warming trend will get underway later in the workweek and over that following weekend.
