ACTION 8 UPDATE: Name released of person killed in wreck between dump truck, 18-wheeler in Montgomery
Montgomery police are investigating a crash between an 18-wheeler and a dump truck.
Montgomery Police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that the crash happened at about 8:44AM today on Selma Highway near Alatex Road. That is near the Montgomery Regional Airport.
Coleman said 69-year-old Richard Ward of Union Springs, who was driving the dump truck, was killed.
She said the driver of the 18-wheeler wasn’t hurt.
No other information has been released.
