Five people shot at Montgomery apartment complex
Five people were treated at Baptist South Hospital Wednesday night after a shooting at a Montgomery apartment complex. According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to Baptist South Hospital around 6:15pm. Contact was made with three adult male victims and two juvenile victims.
Two of the adults sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and one adult sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. One of the juveniles sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and the other juvenile sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
It was determined that the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive which is located in the Liberty Square Apartment complex behind the Walmart Supercenter on the Eastern Boulevard. According to MPD, there is no additional information available for release in connection to this continuing investigation.
