Man dead in Montgomery hit and run crash

Montgomery police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash.

The two-vehicle accident happened around 5:55 p.m. in the 1700 block of Yarbrough Street.

Once officers and fire medics arrived, they located a 2014 motorcycle. The driver, 33-year-old Jerome Stone, of Montgomery, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say the other vehicle involved fled the scene before they arrived.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
