Rain And T-storms Likely Tonight
We’re still on track for a decent rain event to move through our area tonight into early Thursday.  It will come as a frontal boundary approaches overnight. There will even be t-storms accompanying the frontal passage.  A few strong storms can’t be ruled out over our west and southwestern counties. Rainfall potential will range between .50 to 1.50 in spots. We’re on the backside of the front Thursday afternoon. Drier air returns as high pressure builds over the deep south once again. This will set the stage for abundant sunshine along with temps turning much cooler. Daytime highs will hover in the lower 70s while overnight lows cool into the lower to mid 40s. Finally a little bit of cool air to make it feel like fall again!
