ACTION 8 UPDATE: Manhunt called off for suspect in Montgomery County
ACTION 8 UPDATE: ALEA said late this afternoon that it has called off the search for a suspect in Montgomery County.

A manhunt is underway for a suspect in Montgomery County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says around 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, a trooper attempted to make a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. 231 and Taylor Road.
The driver of the vehicle fled which resulted in a foot pursuit.
ALEA’s Aviation Unit responded along with additional troopers to assist with the search.
ALEA has not said the reason for the initial traffic stop.
