Mostly cloudy, a few showers Sunday; Soaking rain early next week
The weekend started on a very cold note. Morning lows were in the mid to upper 20s across our area. However, sunshine was abundant for much of the day. Afternoon high temperatures rebounded into the upper 50s to low 60s. Clouds increased late in the day, and that trend continues Saturday night. That keeps temperatures milder than recent nights. Lows range from the mid 30s to low 40s.
Sunday looks mostly cloudy to overcast with showers after midday. However, temperatures look warmer, with highs in the low to mid 60s. Rain becomes more widespread Sunday night into Monday morning. Sunday night lows only fall into the 50s. Monday looks warmer despite an overcast sky and bouts of rain. High temperatures approach 70°. Bouts of rain continue Monday night into Tuesday. Tuesday looks warm again with highs near 70 degrees.
Wednesday looks mainly dry, cooler, and breezy as a cold front pushes through our area early in the day. The rest of the week looks dry but cool with sunshine and some clouds. high temperatures range from the upper 50s to low 60s Thursday and Friday. Lows fall into the 30s each night. Next weekend looks dry and cool with sunshine and some clouds at this time.
