Montgomery family desperately searching for 16 year old girl missing since Tuesday

A distraught mother is desperately looking for answers as she searches for her missing 16 year old daughter two days after she disappeared in Montgomery.  Taraneshia Casby tells Action 8 News that her daughter Dynasti walked outside their home on Tuesday around 4pm. Taraneshia thought Dynasti was taking a walk around the neighborhood to blow off steam after they argued and she took away her daughter’s cell phone.

But Dynasti never came home. She was last seen in the 5600 block of Bell Road. The worried mother says MPD has categorized Dynasti as a runaway, and they have not helped the family search for her. Family and friends are looking for her in the Fairfield area.

They’ve printed fliers and are asking for neighbors to check their doorbell cameras for any clues. Dynasti is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, black hoodie, khaki pants, and black and white shoes.

“You know a lot of times they say, ‘oh teenagers, they just get mad. They just go to a friend’s house or something or whatever, whatever the case may be.’ But, that’s not my baby. You know, they try to label every case the same. This is not the case. I know my child. I know my baby. She wouldn’t have left. She would’ve come back home, even if she was upset, she would’ve come back home. That’s not like my baby,” said Taraneshia Casby with tears in her eyes.

The family says it is out of character for Dynasti to disappear like this. Anyone with information on Dynasti’s whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP or the family at (334) 231-0215.

Montgomery investigators ask anyone with information regarding this case to immediately contact law enforcement or CrimeStoppers. When you call CrimeStoppers, you always remain anonymous.
