Two arrests made in fatal shooting in Union Springs; Reward offered for any more arrests
Two people have been arrested in a fatal shooting that happened in Union Springs earlier this year.
According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, at about 12:44AM on Saturday, May 4, Union Springs Police responded to the CVS on Baskin Street. They found 18-year-old Delvin Tarver of Auburn with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a Montgomery hospital where he died.
Two people are charged with murder in Tarver’s death. Investigators say they are 22-year-old Freddie James Williams, Jr., and 23-year-old Anthony Jackson. They are being held in the Bullock County Jail without bond.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in providing any additional information about this case.
A cash reward of $1,500 is being offered for information that leads to any additional arrests.
