Edmundite Missions hosts 6th Annual Toy Giveaway in Selma

Edmundite Missions hosts its 6th Annual Toy Giveaway in Selma on Saturday.

Thousands of toys — gift cards — and free lunches will be given away to kids — up to 18 years old.

The event will be held at Bullock Community Recreation Center — from 10 am to 1 pm.

Organizers say helping to make sure that every child gets a gift for Christmas — is something they look forward to every year.

Dale Bell is the Edmundite Missions Social Programs Director.

“This year we have some great toys. We really stepped up our game this year,” said Bell.

“The toys are very, very, very nice toys — from Mattel, Hasbro, we have some tablets, we have some scooters. We have some baby dolls, we have some art supplies. So we have a little bit of, something for everybody.”

Edmundite Missions gave out about 2000 toys and gifts — at last year’s event.
