Pedestrian killed after being hit by a vehicle in Montgomery
Montgomery police are investigating an accident that claimed the life of a pedestrian.
Maj. Saba Coleman said around 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, officers and fire medics responded to the 6400 block of Atlanta Highway after receiving a call regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
Once they arrived, they found the female pedestrian with fatal injuries. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
