A second employee with the Montgomery Youth Detention Facility has been arrested and charged with sex crimes.

Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson said 35-year-old Labradford Jamell Armistad was arrested Friday and charged with seven counts of 1st degree sodomy relating to the sexual assault of a juvenile victim in his custody.

Armistad is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Earlier this week, the sheriff’s office also arrested former employee Kentavious Miller. Miller is charged with sexual abuse in the first degree.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is holding a press conference Monday regarding details on the investigation and the arrests.
