The Cold Air Does Retreat This Week

Winter is underway and it’s feeling like it for now but there are signs we thaw out a bit over the holiday period.  In the meantime, we have another cold night ahead as temps plunge into the upper 20s to lower  30s.  The cold and dry conditions continue into Monday but we’re gradually warming as we go into Tuesday.   Temps will be well into the 60s for highs and lows in the 40s.   We will continue to mention the chance for isolated showers on Christmas Day.  Doesn’t look like anything too impressive but rain gear may be required at times.  We will see the weather pattern remain some what active going into the latter half of the week.   Periods of showers and t-storms are likely along with milder temps going into the final weekend of December.
