Man killed in Montgomery deadly shooting

Montgomery police are investigating the city’s second homicide of 2025.

Lt. David Wise tells Action 8 News that around 6:12 a.m. Wednesday, officers and fire medics were called to the 5100 block of Long Leaf Pine Drive in response to a man shot. That location is in Evergreen Estates, just off Troy Highway.

Once they arrived, they found 42-year-old Rosniery Abady Mejia Magana, of Montgomery, dead from a gunshot wound.
