Century Church officially opens “The Arc at the Well”

A Pike Road church celebrated a milestone this morning.

Century Church on Marler Road held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of “The Arc at the Well.”

The Arc is the church’s first permanent building.

The multi-use facility was completed in December and will serve as a recreational facility throughout the week, with sports like basketball and pickle ball. Along with providing a space for worship services and church activities, the building will also be equipped to host community events.

Before the completion of this building, the members of Century Church had worshiped in the gymnasium of Pike Road Elementary for four years before moving to an outdoor worship setting in 2020.

The 23-acre outdoor location is the planned site for all future buildings and has become known as The Well in Pike Road. From 2020 until 2024 Century Church facilities consisted of two pole barns and 6 outfitted shipping containers.

The completion of the Arc at The Well is just the next step for The Well. If you would like to see the master plan, go to centuryproject.org.
