Wreck closes Interstate 65 southbound in Butler County

Action 8 News is on the scene of a wreck on Interstate 65 in Butler County that has closed both southbound lanes.

As you can see from this image from Action 8’s Thunder Truck, snow is falling in that part of the county. This view is from just off the interstate, with traffic backed up.

The wreck happened around 12:15PM. We don’t have many details other than it involved more than one vehicle.

The wreck is around mile marker 122, which is about eight miles south of the main Greenville exit. Traffic is being detoured.
