Free Glaucoma Screenings in Selma
January is Glaucoma Awareness month. And if you’re in the Selma area, you have a chance to get screened for glaucoma for free.
The V.I.P. Organization, Inc. and Primary Eyecare Center of Selma will host a free glaucoma eye screening Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 from noon to 2 p.m. at their new location at 2401 Medical Center Parkway in Selma.

“One of the things they can expect is a welcome, then go back and have a quick eye screening of the eye. They will look in the eye, check the pressure. If the pressure is elevated, then the doctor will then call you back for a secondary meeting in terms of prescribing medication for you,” said Bowman.
