Cool nights, warm afternoons, abundant sunshine this weekend

Friday was cloudy and wet across central and south Alabama. However, the clouds partially cleared with sunshine for some locations during the late afternoon. Most of the rain was out of Alabama by 6PM. The sky clears Friday night, and temperatures turn cooler by Saturday morning. Lows range from the low to mid 40s.

The weekend looks mostly sunny with mild to warm afternoon temperatures. Highs range from the mid to upper 60s Saturday, and low 70s Sunday. Much of next week looks even warmer, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s through Thursday. Monday looks mostly sunny, but Tuesday and Wednesday look partly cloudy. Rain chances may increase late next week as the next cold front approaches the southeast.
