Suspect arrested in shooting death of 14-year-old boy in Selma
Selma police are investigating a weekend shooting that claimed the life of a teenager.
Chief Kenta Fulford tells Action 8 News that the shooting happened around 1:55 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Weaver Street.
Once officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old male victim dead.
Chief Fulford said the Selma Police Department Criminal Investigation Division arrested an unidentified 17-year-old male for murder.
The suspect is currently in the Perry Detention Center on no bond until his hearing.
