Rain, some storms at times Saturday night through Sunday night
Saturday was more cloudy than Thursday and Friday, but much of the day was dry. However, some showers and storms drifted through our area during the evening. Scattered rain with some storms continue Saturday night. A few storms may become strong to severe, capable of strong wind gusts and hail. The risk looks greater near the Florida state line, and near zero north of highway 80 and Interstate 85.
Sunday looks cloudy with scattered showers throughout the day. Temperatures remain cooler, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds look rather breezy, out of the northeast at 10 to 15 mph. Some rain lingers through Sunday night. Rain departs and clouds break apart Monday afternoon. As sunshine returns, temperatures rebound into the 60s to near 70°.
Monday night lows fall into the upper 30s to low 40s. However, Tuesday looks mainly sunny and warm with highs in the mid 70s. Wednesday looks mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Some showers appear possible Thursday. Friday looks dry and warm with highs in the low 80s. More rain and some storms appear possible next weekend. We may need to watch that system for severe weather potential, but that is an unknown at this time.
