Bullock County Child Dies in ATV Accident
Bullock County officials say an eight-year-old boy has died after a four-wheeler accident near the Halls Crossroads community.
Bullock County Sheriff’s officials say the crash happened around 7:00 Friday night on County Road 55 about 12 miles outside Union Springs. According to Bullock County deputies, the child was riding an ATV in a field next to his home when he apparently fell off the four-wheeler and the vehicle tipped over on top of him. Rescue crews took the child to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials say the child was a second-grader at Conecuh Springs Christian School in Union Springs. Funeral plans have not been announced. The child’s name has not been released.
