Maplesville Man Dies in Car Crash
A single-vehicle crash on Friday claimed the life of a Maplesville man.Â
69-year-old Billy Hakwins died from his injuries after the 2006 Chrysler 300 he was driving left the road and hit a tree.
Authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash occurred at on Chilton County road 36, 12 miles west of Thorsby.Â
