Buy Alabama’s Best campaign showcases local products
Alabama’s most popular local products were on display as the ‘Buy Alabama’s Best’ campaign returned to the State Capitol Lawn for a sampling event. The event was to showcase Alabama made products that not only contribute to the state’s economy, but also support local agriculture and employ 1 of of 4 Alabamians. Governor Kay Ivey attended the event and sampled each business’s products.
“It’s always a good celebration for the food industry,” stated Governor Ivey. “Folks in Alabama love their home grown, home manufactured products so I’m proud to be a part of this exciting day.”
The ‘Buy Alabama’s Best’ campaign started in 2006 with 4 Alabama companies and now has 45 companies involved across the state. Milo’s Tea Company is one of the companies involved in this campaign.
“Milo’s Tea Company is a family owned, women owned business headquarted right here in Alabama,” stated Atticus Rominger who is the Vice President of Corporate Communications for Milo’s Tea Company. “Anytime that we have the opportunity to gather with other great Alabama brands and tell our story, we just really welcome the opportunity to share our product with the world.”
