Two-alarm fire damages Montgomery apartment building
A two-alarm fire has left a Montgomery apartment building with extensive damage.
Assistant Fire Chief Stanley Cooper said the fire happened at around 5:30 this afternoon at a two-story apartment building in the 3700 block of Wesley Drive, which is near the Normandale Shopping Center.
Cooper said flames and smoke could be seen when firefighters arrived.
He said the building was vacant. There was no one found inside.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
