Sunshine, warmer this weekend; Rain Sunday night into Monday
Friday morning was frigid and frosty. Low temperatures were in the upper 20s to low 30s. However, temperatures rebounded into the mid and upper 60s Friday afternoon. Sunshine was abundant throughout the day. Friday night looks cool, but not as cold, with lows near 40°. That should keep Saturday morning frost-free. Saturday looks mostly sunny and warmer, with highs in the mid 70s.
Sunday looks even warmer, with highs near 80°. The sky remains fairly sunny through the early to mid afternoon. Clouds increase Sunday evening. Eventually, rain and some storms move into our area late Sunday night or early Monday morning. It looks like any storms in our area remain sub-severe. Most of the rain departs Monday afternoon.
The rest of next week looks mainly dry. Tuesday through Friday look partly to mostly sunny. Afternoon temperatures gradually warm during the course of the week. Temperatures should reach the low 80s by Friday. We may receive another round of rain and possibly some storms next weekend. It looks like most of that moves through Saturday. Sunday and the following Monday may trend drier.
