Montgomery man charged in business burglary

A Montgomery man has been charged in the burglary of a business.

According to court records, the burglary happened at around 10:49AM yesterday in the 2500 block of Fairlane Drive., which is just off Eastern Boulevard.

Court records state 42-year-old Jim Parker entered the business with the intent to steal copper to scrap for cash. The name of the business wasn’t disclosed.

Officers found Parker inside the building hiding in a closet and was taken into custody without incident, records show.

He has been charged with burglary in the third degree.
