Quiet For Now But Storms Ahead For The Weekend

A quiet weather pattern continues with a few more days of nice and warm conditions.  Temps will be reaching 80 degrees for highs and lows in the 50s.  We’re expecting changes over the weekend as another frontal system approaches and our rain chances go up. There could even be a severe storm threat accompanying the weekend system as we go into Monday.

In the meantime, we expect a mainly clear sky with temps dropping into the upper 40s to lower 50s overnight.  We’re looking at lots of sunshine and warmer afternoon temps. We should manage lower 80s for highs Thursday afternoon. We expect a repeat with possibly a few more clouds Friday.

We do see changes ahead for the upcoming weekend.  Another frontal system will be approaching and it will bring our next round of rain and storms into the state. Scattered showers and t-storms are likely Saturday.  It doesn’t look like a washout but your outdoor plans may be impacted at times.  Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe Sunday night into Monday.  This is something we will be monitoring through the week.
